Washer

So my three year old GE washer that I bought from the previous home owner for $200 finally broke today.  Rather than having it repaired, I am thinking of getting a new one.  But I am debating if should get it immediately or wait a few month, do some research and maybe wait until Black Friday.  In the mean time, I would not mind at all to do my laundry at the Laundromat.  The ideal of laundromat is fascinating to me.  As a first generation immigrant, I have definitely spent some time in my youth in it.  And I am certain that most of my fellow first generation immigrants did too.  To me, laundromat is a symbol for us not to forget where we came from.  Something that reminds me to keep myself grounded.

Things I enjoy and things I obsessed about now

1. Occasional Sunday morning swim then breakfast with old friends

2. Movies with good plot (or attractive chick).  Jack Reacher is the latest one, good movie and also Rosamund Pike is pretty hot

3. Wake up in the weekend with a clear blue sky outside

4. Pagani Huayra

5. Get my weight down below130lbs

6. Rolex Submariner (I definitely don't need it, but maybe one day i'll buy it)

7. Good Chinese/Taiwanese food when I drive back up to San Gabriel to pick up old mails

8. French pop music, started with Alizee now I am actively looking to download more

9. Mongolian Conquest in the 12th century.  I don't know why but I am researching the web to find out how this got started and how they got so strong, and then disappeared.

10. Tennis.  I think I have about 0.5 Level improvement still in me (that gets me back to my highschool level with better maturity).  Irvine people love to play tennis, since there really isn't really anything else going on here
