As we age through our 20s and rush towards our 30s. Isn't it funny that it often feels that we are approaching that invisible "cross road" of our lives? Where do we go from here? What will defines us as a person? Questions and doubts about who we are and who we will eventually become all seem to begin to, and miraculously find answers to themselves. It is the best times. Never the worst. But somehow, it still brings out that uneasiness feeling, because I know, my turn is coming up. I am cautiously anticipating and preparing for that dare to be great moment. I don’t know much, but I sure do hope it will be a fun ride.
I have friends who have made these decisions to take that different “cross road” in their lives. Whether it is deciding to pursuing a entertainment career in HK. A freelense writing career in Australia. Marrying the person of his/her dreams or chasing after that perfect someone you encountered on the street. It is all happening. And I wish them all the best. Keep it up! it will be a hell of a ride for all of us. Be Spectacular.

Random Thought 1/10/05
Desire. Recently I went to dinner with two close friends and somehow, our discussions took a philosophical turn. “Humanly Desire” became the topic of our exchanges.
I find that desire often brings disappointment. And that is so true in so many aspects. Ironically, unsolicided surprises are often pleasant…

On Faith and Religion
It is a well know fact that I am an Agnostic. One of my favorite quotations of all time on this topic was something I read from the rear license plate of a car. It says. “God is too great to belong to any one religion”. This quotation has such a simple yet profound understanding of what spirituality and faith is all about. I believe religion, any religion, as long as the basic message it preaches is about love, understanding and appreciation of humanity, it is good. What I am very concerned about are the “fundamental aspects that exists in current secular world now. Not just Islamic fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism as well.
I always believe that any fundamental belief where you preach the message that what you believe is the absolute truth, is intrinsically false, and dangerous….more on this in later blogs…
On a side now, PBS recently has shown a documentary about His holiness Pope John Paul the II. It is definitely worth watching…
